I think they really did it, honestly, how can you fake the expressions on their faces during the scene? I'm pretty sure actors know how to fake an orgasm on screen, but I agree that it might have been an unsimulated sex scene. I really like this scene. Not because it's a sex scene, but it was acted so well. What I like so much is that both almost seem desperate at first to replace their current sad state with sensual feelings. Just great.
